WYOMING RANCH TRAINING

WyoTech is excited to announce its 12-month, non-accredited, ranch training program!

WyoTech’s hands-on ranching program has students eating, breathing, and sleeping, the ranch life. This will be an experience like none other, where students will be responsible for all aspects of the ranch. This will not be a typical Agriculture program, where theory leads with very little hands-on experience. This will be hands-on, with the theory being explained as you drive to and from the ranch, or after feeding, or it’s too cold to be out fixing fences, or at night as you are paying the bills for the ranch.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

No experience on the ranch required. This program will support the inexperienced beginners as well as those who bring ranch or farm knowledge to the table. Life on the ranch is never short of work and problem solving, all skill levels welcome to apply.

GRIT. Life on the ranch and the work required is physically and mentally challenging. This is a 12-month program in Laramie, Wyoming. Beautiful summers and extreme winters. A tough mentality and willingness to adapt to the conditions of the environment will be imperative.

A yearlong commitment. You must be able to dedicate a year of time to this program.

Team attitude. It takes a crew to achieve excellence on a ranch.

Enjoy working and doing a variety of tasks.

Adaptable to various environments.

Enjoy being outside with nature.

Sense of urgency to complete jobs.

An attitude of being responsible for results.
